Every year, Medicare’s open enrollment period is October 15th through December 7th. Because your patients’ health needs can change every year, it’s important for them to reevaluate their Medicare coverage choices every year.

The fall open enrollment period is the time of year when Medicare beneficiaries can see what new benefit options are available and make changes to their coverage. After enrolling during the fall open enrollment period, coverage begins on January 1st.
