Congressman Doug Collins (R-GA), 9th Congressional District
A native of Gainesville, Georgia, Rep. Collins has served the people of Georgia since 2006. He currently serves as a U.S. Representative for Georgia’s Ninth Congressional District, a seat he’s held since 2013 Rep. Collins is a national leader for the independent community pharmacy, and he has hosted two special orders on the U.S. House of Representatives floor this year to speak about the critical role community pharmacists play in healthcare. In addition, he has co-sponsored several bills of importance to the pharmacy community and is the lead sponsor of H.R. 1316, The Prescription Drug Price Transparency Act. In addition to his service as a Congressman, Rep. Collins has served as a U.S. Air Force Reserve chaplain since 2002 and remains active in the Air Force Reserve.
Michael Dart, Expert Retail Consultant
A partner in A.T. Kearney’s Consumer Products & Retail Practice, Michael Dart is an accomplished consultant and advisor with a wealth of experience leading strategic transformations and due diligence studies for many of the largest private-equity funds and global retailers. Mr. Dart has been recognized by Consulting magazine as one of its top 25 consultants. He is co-author of books The New Rules of Retail and recently released Retails Seismic Shift, which identifies trends shaping the future of retail and how businesses can succeed in a mobile world with an abundance of material goods and consumer values.
