“Greet them with a smile and have them leave with a smile” is the customer service approach at Oakdale Pharmacy. Having experience as a retail and hospital community clinic pharmacist, Rich Kane opened Oakdale Pharmacy in the 1990s. The pharmacy offers immunizations and compounding, along with an “antibiotic call” to check in on patients three to four days after their visit to find out how they’re feeling. After the pharmacy has closed for the day, Rich continues his duties to his community by servicing a local drug rehab facility every day and offering personal deliveries for patients who can’t make it to the pharmacy. As you can see, Rich takes pride in personal service or, as he sees it, “the things you do for people.”
