WSPC would like to congratulate Terry and Michelle Gatlin on their new independent pharmacy located in Pratt, Kansas. For the Gatlin’s, independent pharmacy embodies their commitment to community, service, and patient care.
After working in a grocery store pharmacy, Terry decided to pursue his Working Professional PharmD degree at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. This program enabled him to continue working while he and Michelle started their pharmacy.
Michelle is an experienced clinical nursing instructor and looks forward to being the pharmacy business manager. They’re creating a pharmacy team with extensive experience in public health immunization and nutrition programs, compounding, and certified diabetic education. Terry said of opening the pharmacy, “We knew we wanted a service-centered business and owning a pharmacy is our way of being able to make a difference.”
