Creekside Pharmacy, located in the Alum Rock business district in San Jose, is surrounded by both business and residential neighborhoods. The pharmacy has served the multi-cultural, bilingual (English and Vietnamese) community for more than 25 years. Creekside Pharmacy offers local delivery, MTM, and immunizations to its patients. Family-owned and operated, the Tran’s business model is to be the personal drugstore and neighborhood one-stop-shop, including multilanguage pharmacy assistance and services for the elderly.
Tiffany Thy Tran, RPh and PharmD, completed her internship at Creekside Pharmacy and then worked 6 years for a local Walgreen’s Pharmacy. To enable patients to live healthier and longer lives, Tiffany realized that more time and flexibility with each patient/client would enhance patient care. To actualize the goal of superior customer service Tiffany and her husband Tim, purchased Creekside Pharmacy in Fall 2015.
“We know our patients by name; we know their birthdays,” Tiffany proudly notes. “As we expand, we will provide value-added specialty services, including HIV, LTC, medical supplies, and herbal compounding. We love what we are doing – and it’s contagious.”
Husband Tim Vi Tran, Creekside CFO, agrees. “What can we do better than everybody else? Customer service – and we focus on that every day.”
