NCPA Pharmacy Fly In

2019 Congressional Pharmacy Fly-In

“Pharmacy advocacy is at the forefront of our efforts. We encourage you to get your local legislators involved as education is key in creating the wave of change.” – John Bruce, WSPC President & CEO
Join our EVP of Legislative Affairs, Dirk White, RPh, and the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) for the 2019 Congressional Pharmacy Fly-In! Fly in, get briefed, go to Capitol Hill, share your story with member of Congress, and fly home. It’s a small investment of your time that can make a whopping difference in how federal law and policy affect your pharmacy practice.

NCPA hosts this annual meeting in Washington to promote pro-community pharmacy policies and encourage Members of Congress who represent community pharmacies in their congressional districts and states to support and pass priority pharmacy legislation. In 2018, NCPA reported that community pharmacists from over 35 states attended the fly-in and visited more than 250 Congressional offices for legislative meetings.

Says John Bruce, WSPC President & CEO, “Pharmacy advocacy is at the forefront of our efforts. We encourage you to get your local legislators involved as education is key in creating the wave of change.” We hope to see you there!
